From being a bad thing that families did not hip hop in there homes to the POTUS recognizing hip hop as a good thing. This really was a huge step in hip hop history and really shows what hip hop means.
This article is really cool and it is really great to see how hip hop changed. The fact that the president acknowledges the hip-hop culture is really important and shows how hip-hop culture has evolved.
ReplyDeleteI think that this was very deserved for Kendrick because he told a story about his cities struggles and his personal struggles. He talks about the demons he fights with and you can hear that in his music. POTUS noticed that and he felt that Kendrick deserved to recognized so he did, very nice.
