Little Man Rap

Dear Nick,
You’ve always been more than a brother,
I thought being the youngest was supposed to be tougher
You’ve been in my corner since Day 1
From sports to being kids havin backyard fun
Now you're on you're way to The Naval Academy,
And this is the part that saddens me
Watching you grow into a midshipmen
Remember mom’s garden chores we were dippin
You taught me all I know
The least I can do this make this audio
For all the unforgettable laughs and late car rides
I have to thank you for showing me the guides
All the times you held it in when I was annoying
I remember the times you made life enjoying
And then watching you play sports you were destroying
You may not have always been the smartest
But you're personalities what's brought you the farthest
We don't always agree but I won't forget what you taught me
Work hard and look what life brought me
Remember the younger days when you fought me
I guess we're a little alike
But our differences are what made us unite
You always made  every job look light

And that's why I thank you, you were always right.

  1. I really like this verse because you talk about the things that you have fun with, but also what your differences are, and how they have brought you closer than anything. I think that many people with any sibling should read this, because I think all can relate.

  2. I love this because you talk about your true feelings with your brother. Also you express how he is leaving soon so you are reminiscing on the times you had with him.

  3. I liked the way you reminisce about the great times you have had with your brother and you convey an admiration you have for him. You also express your sorrow for him leaving but at the same time a gratefulness for how he's helped you
