I spend my days not practicing piano
Not reading books
Not writing words
Not chasing stray kittens through the woods and carpooling to the SPCA
Not watching movies
Not learning to cook
Not drawing
Not going out
Not staying in
Not volunteering
Not driving through farmland
Not speaking French
Not visiting my aunts
Not matching foundation
Not babysitting
Not talking to God
Not donating
Not playing the blame game
Not reconciling
Not going to the market on an empty stomach
Not swimming for cardio
Not fighting for the scottie dog
Not settling for the iron
Not lobbying Congress
Not wearing red
Not going to the doctor
Not reading books
Not practicing piano
I am the distant-near future
And I have all the time in the world
I really liked this poem because It really shows rather than tells. Your able to make a point without forcing it. good job.
