Sonnet- Lauren Cunningham

I went to see my cousin at the game,
We went to eat together at the mall.
He is famous so everyone knew his name,
I stood confused wanting to just play ball.

We left the game and went back to the house,
Blisters from walking, all over our toes.
Singing loud and sounding like a loud mouse,
We got home and watched three long tv shows.

We go to bed now to wake up at six,
To just play soccer outside all day long.
Starting off the day with just a few kicks,
Then work on my skills so nothing goes wrong.

Playing sports outside all day and all night,
Learning from my cousin is a delight.
