9 ways of listening to music
- 1. Listen to the lyrics
Do you really hear it?
Or do you stomp your feet
To the sound of the beat?
2. Listen to the flow and see how it changes
Listen for similes, metaphors and more figurative language
3. Listen to a solo song, or a song when someone's featured
Listen to a song with headphones or maybe even speakers
4. Listen to music and turn up with your boys
Or listen to it all the time cause now a days its nun but white noise
5. Listen to a whole album for a very long time
Listen to only one song because it has good rhymes
6. The way you go with the song
Are you a clapper or a tapper
Do you listen to the singer or the rapper?
7. Listen to a song that has violence, drugs, and things that are very wrong
Or listen to a song that has a message or a meaning that is very strong
8. Listen to the way the chorus it
Listen to the way they verse it
You want to listen to it again just go ahead and reverse it
9. Sing while you listen to the song so you and everybody else can hear your voice
Listen to any type of music you want to because it's your choice
I thought that it was great how you were able to come up with 9 different ways to listen to music. This was a very creative subject and interesting how you interpreted it.

ReplyDeleteI like how you're talking to many people, with each line speaking to a completely different type of music listener. This makes the poem personal to everyone who loves music for any reason.
ReplyDeleteI like how creative this is. It would have been hard for me to come up with 9 ways to listen to music but after reading this I have listened to music all of these ways so I can totally understand where you found all of these.
ReplyDeleteOne of the reasons I love music is because everyone can use it the way they want and listen to whatever they want. I think you captured this well in this piece
