Do you ever wonder what it takes to be the best
Everyone thinks that success comes easy but I can attest
Dead after eight 200’s and still having four more
It takes a soldier because sometimes it feels like war
Can you keep going cause if not someone else will
Anyone can be average but you wanna be great
The gym and the field to the track and back; this has to be a trait
In any way necessary it just requires the focus
Once you’ve been through it all you now get the chance
Now make everyone stare, it won’t just be a glance
You really played with my emotions with this writing piece. It inspired me. I like how you spelled dedication, and the poem was about dedication. I really love it.
