All our lives we have had opportunities handed to us,
The less fortunate people think “they see right through us”
The mucky man stood fragile as he pleaded for money
The begging man we view his struggle as funny
He asked “ A dollar sir, I’ll take anything”?
We keep on walking because we have everything
On the way into the Walmart my mind begins to run
I wonder how I spend every dollar just for my own fun
As I shut the door on the way out the store
I reach into my back pocket because i knew i could help more
I smiled at the man and gave him a dollar
He replied “Thanks young man, now I can remove my squalor”
Take a minute, and think beyond yourself
This is very well put together because it is true to world around us. People use an excuse that they will buy drugs but not everyone is like that.
