Catalog poem - Jackson Tuma

I wake up, feeling dead
Then I just chill in my bed
Then I get up and get ready to shower
Then I get yelled at for “taking a hour”

Then I get in my sisters car
I don't have to travel far
Then I arrive at school
Then I hope that today will be cool

Then I go through my first set of class
Then I go to the chapel for my mass
Then I chill in the lounge and Mr Letts’s office
Then I play games and beating the bosses

Then I end up my school day
Then I get the feeling it's time to play
Then I go back to that car in the student lot
Then I feast on the food just my pin bought

Then I go home and put in that work
Then I possibly watch highlights of “the next Dirk”
Then I stay up to 12 on my phone
Then I watch youtube videos that aren't my own

Then my head hits the pillow I'm out like pass
I think of my regular day, and it's kinda ass

  1. This poem describes your daily day at school, it gives a pretty nuetral sense of school days.

  2. I really like the repetitiveness in this poem, I feel that it really gives this poem some structure. I also like the imagery in this poem, it really provides a good picture about your morning.
