I chose J Cole's Ville Mentality because in this song he discusses how he won't be here forever, but while he is here he won't give out or show his pain. Instead he's gonna fight against racism and everything being pushed against him by using raping as his platform. Throughout the chorus of the song he questions how long he will be able to make it with his mindset, and his mindset is that he just wants racism and the struggle of black people to end. There are also snippets of this girl talking about her dead father, and I think he put these snippets in because he was raised without a father, and how that made on impact on the struggle he had to go through in his childhood and life.
