Eminem Not Afraid

The song Not Afraid speaks to me. Eminem lyrics resembles his past of drug abuse and bad decisions that affected not only him but his family and friends as well. When Eminem sings the course “I’m not afraid to take a stand, everybody come take my hand, and we’ll walk this road together”. This shows Eminem doesn’t just want to help himself but also others who are struggling with the same issue. “I promise To focus solely on handling my responsibilities as a father”. Eminem decides to make a change for the better so he can become a great father and husband. Eminem also mentions “to all the people that look down on him he is tearing down their balcony”. I do not believe he was using this to show violence I think he means that no matter what people tell him it will not stop him from reaching his goal- Blake
